Terms of use — ReceptionAI

1. The service

ReceptionAI is a virtual receptionist for appointment-based businesses: it answers their customers by phone and on WhatsApp, books, moves or cancels appointments in their calendar, and passes on the requests it cannot handle.

Until its legal entity is set up, the service is published by Samuel Chemla. Contact: samuel.project.dev@gmail.com.

2. Free trial and subscription

The first 14 days are free, with no credit card, up to 50 call minutes and 20 WhatsApp conversations; a channel whose quota is reached stops answering until a plan is chosen. After the trial, the service continues only with the plan you choose, at the listed prices (excl. VAT); no payment is taken without your agreement. The service keeps evolving: features may change.

No paid subscription starts without your explicit consent; any price change is announced at least 30 days in advance.

3. Your account and your information

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for the accuracy of the information you enter (opening hours, services, prices, rules, FAQ): the AI only answers with this information.

4. How the AI works

Answers are generated automatically. Despite our precautions, mistakes remain possible: check your appointments and requests regularly. When the AI cannot answer, it passes the request on to you instead of making something up.

5. Your commitments

You use the service for your business, lawfully, and you follow WhatsApp (Meta) rules: no unsolicited advertising, only messages related to your customers' appointments. Where the law requires it, you inform your customers that answers are automated.

6. Third-party services

ReceptionAI relies on providers (Google Calendar, Meta's WhatsApp, phone carriers, AI and hosting providers). Their own terms apply, and an outage on their side may affect the service.

7. Personal data

You remain responsible for your customers' data; ReceptionAI processes it on your behalf, solely to provide the service. Details are in the privacy policy.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. ReceptionAI cannot be held liable for indirect losses (revenue, missed appointments) caused by an error or an interruption of the service.

9. Stopping the service

You can stop at any time by writing to samuel.project.dev@gmail.com. Your data is then deleted according to the privacy policy; you can ask for a copy of your appointments before stopping.

10. Changes

These terms may change; any significant change is announced to you in advance, by e-mail or in your dashboard.
